YanceyWorks operates Hurst Bids for Hurst Construction LLC. Hurst Construction decides who has an account and what it is used for.

Your name, work email, initials, job title and role; when you sign in; and a record of every change you make in the app (who, what, when). For the two YanceyWorks emergency (break-glass) accounts, the network address of every sign-in attempt is also kept. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash — nobody, including YanceyWorks, can read them.

To sign you in, to control what each role may do, and to keep a trustworthy record of bid and criteria decisions.

In a MySQL database on a YanceyWorks server in the United States, with nightly backups on the same server. It is not sold, and not shared with anyone outside Hurst Construction and YanceyWorks.

One sign-in cookie, only while you are signed in. No tracking or advertising cookies.

For as long as Hurst Construction uses Hurst Bids. Nightly backups are kept for 30 days. When Hurst Construction stops using the service, its data is exported to Hurst on request and then deleted within 30 days.
